Per the TERRA CLOUD catalogue 2026/2027: racks with 48 rack units (46 usable), space from one rack unit, 4×16 A power distribution with up to 4 kW per rack – optionally 8 kW –, 1 GBit/s connectivity with traffic included, and on request a firewall as a VM or as Securepoint hardware. Multi-stage electronic access systems with two-factor authentication, 24/7 video surveillance, specialist staff by day and security service by night. Early fire detection for the finest smoke particles, residue-free gas suppression, direct line to the fire brigade nearby. Redundant cooling with up to 80 % free cooling, hot-aisle containment, spare parts on site.
The rack sits in our partner's data center, not in one of our own; the certificate is the operator's. We are your contract partner. Prices per rack unit and rack are quoted.

Moving into the data center
- 1. Inventory. Devices, rack units, power draw, connections, dependencies – and the question which of it would be better rented.
- 2. Network plan. Site connectivity via firewall-as-a-service or cloud connector; which addresses change, which services must be reachable from outside.
- 3. Move window. Full backup beforehand, transport, installation, commissioning, test – on a weekend with a way back.
- 4. Operations. Monitoring, backup to the cloud backup with a second site, hardware access by arrangement; hardware replacement remains your decision, procurement through us is possible.

Frequently asked questions
Can we access our hardware?
Per the operator, authorized access for necessary hardware support is available on request, with access control. In day-to-day operation it is rarely needed; remote management and support are handled by us. Hüllhorst is in North Rhine-Westphalia – a few hours from most German cities and a short flight from elsewhere in Europe, so on-site visits are the exception.
Does it have to be TERRA hardware?
No. The catalogue explicitly allows TERRA or third-party hardware. What matters is 19-inch rack mounting (up to 107 cm depth) and power draw within the 4 kW per rack.
Colocation or rent?
Colocation when the hardware is new or carries hardware-bound licenses. Rent when it would be replaced within the next two years anyway – then you do not pay for rack space and hardware at the same time. How is power billed?
By consumption, including cooling and use of the data center infrastructure – per the catalogue. The monthly price for rack units and racks is fixed.
Who is our contract partner?
DAVINCI Rechenzentrum GmbH in Mannheim, under German law. TERRA CLOUD is named as sub-processor in the data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR. Support in English and German.
